Lancaster Team will race for Elks National Foundation
From Michael Lange, PR District Chairman-Central District

SKOWHEGAN - The Lancaster Racing Team of Skowhegan has joined up with the Skowhegan-Madison Elks Lodge to raise funds for the Elks National Foundation this month. Bryan Lancaster will have the hood of his No. 81 Mustang Mini-Stock on display in the lodge club room where members and supporters can autograph it for a $5 donation to the ENF.

Then fans are invited to see Bryan and his brother, Dylan, compete on the high banks of Wiscasset Raceway on Friday, July 28.
As an added bonus, the front gate and pit admission will be reduced to half-price that evening in conjunction with the official sale of the track to Doug White of Farmingdale.

This is the third time that the Lancaster Racing Team has co-sponsored a fund-raising event for the Skowhegan-Madison Elks Lodge. In previous years, they've raised hundreds of dollars for the Elks National Foundation and the Maine Children's Cancer Program. The Lancaster brothers have been two of the top runners all season in the Mini-Stock class at Wiscasset Raceway. Bryan Lancaster also won a track championship in the former Lightweight "B" division when Dylan was his crew chief. The brothers started racing together in the 2005 season. Their father, Randy, is an Elks Lodge member and Bryan has filed an application to join the fraternal organization. All three members of the Lancaster team belong to the Elks National Foundation, which raises millions of dollars nationally to support organized charities, veterans services, scholarships, youth activities and drug awareness programs.

In Maine, the ENF returns $1.54 to the state association for every dollar donated by its members.
